Vendor Spotlight - Part Five

Thanks for following along as we spotlight some of the incredible farms and vendors that help us make Salt Wharf so special! We hope you come by this summer for a taste of the goodness.

Moorit Hill Farms

Started in 2017 with a goal of growing healthy, local food for our community, and raising happy animals, Moorit Hill Farms focuses on regenerative agriculture practices and land stewardship. They are a small-scale livestock operation, which allows them to know each of their animals individually and to provide the absolute best care and life for their flock. In 2022 they expanded operations and purchased a fiber mill which allowed them to begin processing wool and fibers from their own flock as well as other area farms to produce beautiful wool products.

Burlap & Barrel

A Public Benefit Corporation that is completely shaking up the international spice supply chains to make them more equitable, transparent and traceable. This company cares deeply about sustainability and the farmers they work with - and their spices are out of this world delicious!

Aphrodite Oysters

"Kristen Jordan grew up in East Texas and had her first oyster in Austin on 6th Street when Jazz, a Louisiana Kitchen once resided. Yes, it was the Gulf oyster on a saltine piled high with sauces! With more exposure to different oysters and living in colorful Thailand and Argentina, these bold flavors from travel have shaped Aphrodite Oysters offerings."
